John McCain can still win this election. The most important issues for me are national security and life (abortion). John McCain with Sarah Palin on the ticket will appoint justices like Alito and Roberts. Obama will appoint pro-choice justices, and even voted against the born alive protection act. I really think if enough Christians would remember national security and pro-life issues and not just be concerned with their pocketbooks, McCain could still win. So your choice is, a third party candidate with absolutely no chance of winning, or McCain (who has always been solidly prolife) and Palin who have a chance.
